Happy

In the midst of chaos and uncertainity I sit here today with a full heart. I am happy for many things... Tanner blesses me daily with his new discoveries. Tanner and I both are in great health (although he does battle colds and ear infections quite often). I am grateful for insurance, friends who pitch in to help (even if just a listening ear), loving family who care so deeply about us. I am happy for a working cell phone and skype to keep in close contact with Granna and Johnny. I find happiness in the smallest things these days. I am pleased at what becoming a mom has done to me. I tend to not sweat the small stuff. Dating has become easier. Having a small stain on my floor doesn't drive me insane any longer. Having a cluttered kitchen counter doesn't scream at my OCD to clean it. What does scream at me for more attention moreover than the stains or the clutter are the tiny glimpses Tanner gives me when he is so pleased with himself for doing something well or for the fi...

Locks Of Love

Tanner got a big boy hair cut from a salon. His dad took him and Kirt said he did really well. They put him in a car chair and turned on the movie, Cars. He sat there and let the lady cut his locks. I begged Kirt not to let the lady buzz it -- I am terrified of him losing his beautiful, soft baby hair. But, as Uncle Jeremy would say..."Cut that boy's hair!" So...we did
